The "Symposium on Adapting to the New Normal, Defining New Goals and Seizing New Opportunities" organized by the hotel's general manager's office was being held here. General Manager Assistant Xiang Jianwen presided over the meeting. Through the study and discussion, everyone fully realized that with the adjustment of the national economic development speed, the hotel industry has entered a period of rational development and gradually returned to the essence of the market. The accurate market positioning of Rui'an International Hotel and the brand established over the years have broad prospects for development in the future. The business recovery in the second half of the year also gave us a lot of confidence in achieving our 2015 business goals.
Where there is a market, there is competition, and the new normal brings new challenges. The main structure of our customer source is gradually changing, and customer needs are also changing. Our business strategies, marketing methods, management methods, service skills, etc. must also continue to innovate and adapt to changes in the new normal.
On the basis of earnestly studying the "New Normal of China's Hotel Industry in 2015", combined with the actual situation of the department and hotel, the managers of each department reflected on the problems and deficiencies in their work in 2014. Front Office Manager Qiu Libo proposed to improve the airport pick-up service, collect and provide catering information and business information that guests pay attention to, in view of the current increasing situation of business guests; Chi Beilei, deputy manager of the housekeeping department, proposed to continue to strengthen personalized services for guests and strengthen customers Collection and sharing of historical archives; Chen Xiaoguang, the manager of the engineering department, proposed to reshape the product to meet the needs of family-type and parent-child guests; Yang Jie, the manager of the human resources department, analyzed the current employment situation of the hotel, proposed to change the recruitment ideas, and open up new ideas Recruitment channels. Assistant General Manager Qiu Yongdong gave a more comprehensive and systematic speech, putting forward many ideas for adapting to the requirements of the new normal and strengthening operation and management. On the basis of analyzing the new normal of the hotel, General Manager Zhou Chuanxin put forward four constructive suggestions, including the need to adjust the business ideas; the need to improve the quality of service; the need to strengthen the building of brand culture; the need to improve the quality of employees.
General Manager Assistant Xiang Jianwen finally made a concluding speech. First of all, I affirmed the results of this meeting. Through serious discussions, we further clarified the direction and goals of the upcoming work in 2015, and the business management ideas will be clearer.
