Safety work is the top priority of hotel management, and fire protection work is the top priority of safety work. In order to popularize fire safety knowledge, promote experiential publicity, education and training, and improve the ability of fire escape and self-rescue, so that all employees in the store can correctly master the use of fire extinguishers, on the afternoon of November 6, the hotel organized an annual fire fighting knowledge training and practical drill. A total of more than 260 employees from various departments of the hotel and the catering branch participated in this exercise. This exercise is also the largest number of participants over the years.

First of all, Zhu Weicai, the manager of the security department, conducts fire protection knowledge training. During the training process, Manager Zhu analyzed the danger of fire in a simple way through fire protection cases, and combined with the fire safety problems found in daily inspections, he emphasized the importance of fire protection awareness. The training also introduced in detail the specific content of the "Four Abilities", "Four Understandings and Four Meetings" knowledge, as well as evacuation methods. During the training, the security department also simulated the hotel fire emergency plan and recorded it into a video, so that everyone can understand the plan process more vividly. Before the evacuation drill began, Mr. Qiu Yongdong, the executive general manager of the hotel, made an important speech. President Qiu emphasized the importance and necessity of fire fighting work and the significance of this fire drill. It is hoped that through this training and exercise, the hotel's safety work will be further implemented and done well, and various potential safety hazards will be eliminated in the bud, so as to truly "prevent before they happen."

"Bent over, cover your nose, and pay attention to evacuation." Under the command of the firefighter, everyone evacuated from the State Guest Hall on the fifth floor to the rear square through a simulated evacuation drill. At the scene, the Security Department explained the types of fire extinguishing equipment and their performance, adaptation to the type of fire and their operation essentials. After the explanation, the staff will conduct on-site operations.

Through training and drills, the employees’ safety awareness has been further strengthened, the feasibility and operability of the fire protection plan have been tested, and the emergency rescue process has been familiarized. It has played a role in promoting the improvement of emergency command, coordination and handling capabilities, and will contribute to future fire protection. Safety work has accumulated practical experience.
